I'm sick of hearing about global warming , "green" this and that, and I'm dismayed by the near hysteria of the media and some politicians on how we have to give up our SUVs to save the planet!
Everyone take a deep breath and get a grip! We need some perspective, so let's take a look at geological history. According to Geocraft, we're actually in one of the cooler periods of the earth and, interestingly, they note that the earth's climate has varied a lot over geologic time, with it being much hotter and more humid in the past than it is today and with much higher levels of CO2. They even say that compared to previous geological eras, we're actually "CO2-impoverished". There's an interesting chart entitled "Global Temperature and Atmospheric CO2 over Geologic Time" on the Geocraft site - you might take a few minutes to check it out.
Another interesting site is Paleomap Project which actually calls our current climate an "Ice House", compared to past geological periods. I hope you'll take a minute to check out these sites, take a look at the graphs, and pass this along to as many people as you can.
It's infuriating that so many politicians are pushing this global warming nonsense for political and monetary purposes. They don't mind imposing carbon taxes on the population and bankrupting our country as long as they can advance their political agenda.
The only antidote for this is education, but the media are in bed with the global warming bunch, so it's going to be up to us. We can do it!

What Al Gore Doesn't Want You to Know

Since the term "global warming" is getting a bad rap, the new terminology is "climate crisis." Interesting how Gore gets away with living in a huge house and flying around on a private jet. Oh wait. He minimizes his footprint with carbon credits. And he owns a company that makes money trading carbon credits. He's a hypocrite and the whole thing is a scam.ReplyDelete
